Chrysler Voyager 2001-2003 Specifications

The 2001-2003 Chrysler Voyager offered two engine options: a standard 2.4L four-cylinder producing 150 horsepower and 167 lb-ft of torque, and an optional 3.3L V6 producing 180 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque. The V6 was the more popular choice for its superior power and smoother operation, especially when fully loaded.

The timing belt on the 2.4L engine should be replaced every 100,000 miles, while the 3.3L V6 uses a timing chain that typically doesn't require replacement.

Notable features include dual sliding doors, air conditioning, AM/FM stereo with cassette player, and seven-passenger seating. Optional features included power windows and locks, cruise control, roof rack, and a rear window defroster. Higher trim levels offered upgraded cloth or vinyl upholstery and additional convenience features.

The Voyager offers seating for seven passengers in a 2/2/3 configuration. With all seats in place, there's 15.1 cubic feet of cargo space. With the third row removed and second row folded, cargo space expands to 126.7 cubic feet. The second-row seats are removable for maximum cargo capacity.

Common issues include transmission problems (especially in high-mileage vehicles), air conditioning system failures, and power window motor failures. The 3.3L V6 may develop oil leaks from the valve cover gaskets and oil pan gasket. Regular maintenance and prompt attention to any transmission issues are key to longevity.
